Thermal and Visual Roof Inspections

Roof Inspections with Thermal and visual Photos

Early detection, early action. Prevent costly roof repairs with a drone-based inspection. We’ll identify potential damage, leaks, or wear and tear, helping you address issues before they escalate. Our enterprise drones are equipped with thermal imaging cameras that can detect possible issues that may not be noticeable to the naked eye and offering a non-invasive and efficient way to detect potential problems and ensure the longevity and energy efficiency of your roof.

Benefits

  • Safety: No need for personnel to climb on top of roofs, reducing the risk of accidents.

  • Efficiency: Drones are able to quickly and accurately perform inspections without the need for ladders.

  • Cost Effective: Early detection of problems can prevent costly repairs or replacements.

  • Comprehensive: Thermal imaging is able to reveal hidden underlying issues that may not be seen by the naked eye in normal photos.

  • Side by Side Images: Drones are able to capture RGB and thermal photos side by side which allows you to see any obvious damage.

  • High Pitched Roof Inspections: Drones are able to inspect any type of roof, even high pitch roofs that are typically inaccessible to on foot inspections.

Ideal For

  • Commercial Buildings

  • Residential Homes

  • Solar Panel Installations

  • Insurance Claims

  • Pre-purchase Inspections

  • Roof Maintenance

  • Historical Buildings

Detections

  • Moisture Detection: Thermal cameras can detect areas of moisture or water intrusion, which can lead to mold, rot, and structural damage.

  • Heat Loss Identification: By pinpointing areas of heat loss, you can identify insulation deficiencies or air leaks that contribute to energy inefficiency.

  • Solar Panel Inspection: Thermal imaging can help assess the performance of solar panels and identify any hot spots or underperforming panels.

  • Roof Damage Detection: Our drones are able to identify areas of damage, such as loose shingles, cracks, or blistering, which may not be immediately apparent without thermal images.

What we offer

  • A full inspection of the entire roof, capturing thermal and visual images of the entire surface of the roof, including drip edge, vents, gutters, soffit, and more.

  • All images taken of the roof will be provided, including thermal images, visual images, and side by side views for comparison

  • A detailed report of images taken with temperature readings and all thermal anomalies identified. Reports will be provided in a PDF format.

  • If solar panels are installed, all panels will be inspected for temperature anomalies and included in the finished report.
